October 2007

I will have some new pictures later today. Hudson Jai is growing up fast. He is talking much better now, long sentences and stories. He is going to be a pirate for halloween this year and is practicing his "arrrrrrgggg's" for his role. Funny, holding his hooked finger up like Captain Hook. He is a little doll.

Waterboy

Hudson Jai again just made me laugh all day. Aja & I took him to Biomes a marine biology classroom for young people to pet sharks and starfish and see shells & fish. Then we went to the studio and played, Mommy went to work so we did what I call "experiemenation" with pastels, markers, kind of like mixed media. He is a natural. He noticed a have a watercooler and he filled up 7 glasses of water. Then he also cleaned up the spoons in the sink and filled up another 8 oz glass of water and dumped it by accident all over his shirt, floor ect... he walked around like a penquin, because he was so wet. I laughed so hard and he was so serious, then he burst out laughing after he couldn't hold it in any more. We dried his shirt with the hairdryer and ate a great dinner of fish, sweet potatoes and brown rice. He ate well and another Tuesday with Hudson is history, I need to recover. Loved every minute of it.

Hudson Jai
He is a busy little bee these days. We painted today in his "Blues Clues" coloring book. He was very focused and held the brushes with such determination, then with freedom. I think he will be an extraordinary artist someday (hee hee). He has a great sense of humor, making faces and trying new ricks on the swing set, and even putting on his mother's underwear on his head, picking his nose when I say let's take your picture, what a ham! He is definitely Mommy's boy, covers her with kisses and hugs at random. He loves his trian set too, pulling it apart and turning it on & off. He loves the Santa Clause movie and calls it ho ho. His other favorite movies are Curious George, Cars, and The Incredibles. Fascinated by trucks and cars, lines up his little matchbox cars.
I think he is working on my name now instead of calling me mommy or auntie, we are working on Nona. He will not say Nana, don't know why. Refuses to, so got to go with the flow I guess he figues it just does not fit me. He is smarter than me anyway.
